Share the weight of job hunting

A2C Careers Platform is an AI-assisted tool that works with you to find what you have actually done, then works with you to write a CV and cover letter that show an employer your value for the role.

  • Beta testing places: 7 of 20 available
  • Early access places: 68 of 80 available

Your fit at a glance. Demo data.

Built for people starting again

A2C is for people who moved to Australia a few years ago and are still looking for a role at their level, or who are returning after a career break.

You moved here a few years ago

What you did overseas is real. Nobody has helped you explain it in words an Australian employer recognises, and that can be addressed.

A2C helps you see which parts of your overseas experience match the job in front of you. Then it helps you write them the way an employer here expects, without making yourself smaller to fit.

You’re back after time out of work

After a few years away, it’s hard to remember what you did, let alone explain it well. That happens to a lot of people, and it can be addressed.

A2C works through it with you. You get a CV and cover letter together, each matched to the job, so you’re not sending the same CV out again.

Job hunting gets lonely when you're doing all of it on your own.

A2C is beside you at each step. It asks questions and shows you where you match the job and where the gaps are.

Explaining a career gap

A2C asks about your work, so you can see what you’ve done and put it into words.

Translating overseas experience

A2C shows which parts of your overseas experience match the job, then helps you write them the way an employer here expects.

Staring at a blank page

A2C asks the questions, so you don’t start from nothing. It uses the CV you already have, your answers and the job ad to work with you on a new CV and cover letter written for that job.

Nobody to read your draft

Independent AI reviewers check the work at every step for accuracy and truthfulness. Before your CV and cover letter are final, they are checked again through three different lenses.

Who we are and why we built this

A2C Careers Platform is built by Synapticity.

Peggy

Co-founder

Peggy Iu is a co-founder of Synapticity. She led projects in higher education for twenty years, holds a Master of Information Technology from Monash University, and teaches migrant and refugee women in the SisterWorks Small Business Program. She started building with AI as a hobby, and made the first A2C prototype to solve her own problem.

Leonore

Co-founder

Leonore Ryan is a co-founder of Synapticity. She has spent twenty years helping research and new ideas reach the market, starting in technology transfer at Monash University and CSIRO. She co-founded Cardihab, a CSIRO health spinout, taking it through incorporation to closing the first capital raising ($1.35m AUD) and has run startup accelerator programmes at the University of Melbourne, the University of Tasmania and the Burnet Institute.

“When I went back to looking for work after a career break, I couldn’t say what I had achieved in twenty years of leading projects.”

Working through my achievements one at a time helped me put them into words I could use in applications. I built a job application tool with AI to help me do it, and we are now building A2C Careers Platform so other people in the same position can do the same. Writing a CV and cover letter for every job is hard and lonely work. With help, it becomes easier, faster and much less lonely.
